About the project

spirituality ecology activism

Ahiṃsā Samāja is a community and a space for those who seek a truthful and kind way of being – within themselves, among people and in the world as a whole. We build on the principles of nonviolence, mutuality and responsibility, which we weave into a living community. We believe that real change begins within, but unfolds in the actions we create together. ॐ May all beings be happy.

Inspiration & vision

We draw inspiration from the teachings and deeds of those who showed the way of nonviolence, love and a truthful life: Mahatma Gandhi, Satish Kumar, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jesus Christ, Francis of Assisi, Ramana Maharshi, Eduard and Míla Tomáš, Sadhguru — and many others who combine spirituality with a practical response to the challenges of the world.

The vision of Ahiṃsā Samāja is a living platform where spirituality, ecology and activism form a single harmony. We create a safe space for a community that inspires courage, kindness and responsible action. We believe that the best way to lift your own life is to do your utmost to lift the lives of others.
